Privacy Notice
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This notice explains how Wattlemark Nursing handles information received through this website, our nurse application and staff request forms, and related recruitment or staffing enquiries.
Who to contact
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or complaints, contact Wattlemark Nursing at bothwell@wattlemarknursing.com.au or write to Unit 3, 36 Darling Street, Dubbo NSW 2830. Please mark your enquiry “Privacy”.
Information we collect
For general enquiries, we collect the contact details and message you provide. For applications, we collect contact and location details, professional registration where relevant, experience, specialties, work preferences, availability, work-rights information, screening status, resume details and your consent choices. Staffing requests collect organisation and contact details, the role and location, dates, clinical competencies and relevant site requirements.
We request additional credential or sensitive information only when needed for the role and through the appropriate screening process, with consent where required. Please do not include patient names, medical records, identity-document copies, bank details or unnecessary sensitive information in a general website enquiry.
How we collect and use information
We collect information directly from you through forms, email and related conversations. With the necessary authority or consent, we also verify information with referees, registration bodies and other credential or work-rights sources.
We use it to respond to enquiries, assess applications, verify credentials, match nursing staff to suitable roles, manage staffing requests and meet relevant record-keeping obligations. Required form fields help us assess your request. Without necessary information, we may be unable to respond or progress an application or placement.
Who receives information
Information is available to authorised Wattlemark Nursing personnel who need it for their role. Relevant information may be shared with prospective employers or host organisations for an agreed recruitment or staffing purpose, with verification providers, and with service providers supporting our systems. We check the authority or consent needed before disclosure. We may also disclose information where the law requires or permits it. General application consent does not replace any separate consent needed to represent a candidate to a particular client.
Online services and overseas processing
This website uses VentraIP, Google Forms and Google Maps. These services can process information such as form responses, IP addresses, browser details and interactions. Google uses servers in multiple countries, so information may be processed outside Australia. Locations depend on the service and settings. Read Google’s privacy policy for details of its handling practices and controls. You can contact us to discuss an alternative way to provide information.
Storage and retention
We use access controls and authorised systems to protect information, and limit access to people who need it. We keep records for recruitment, staffing and applicable record-keeping purposes. When information is no longer needed and retention is not required, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.
Your choices, access and correction
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or ask us to stop contacting you about opportunities. We may need to verify your identity. We will explain any lawful limits on a request. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practicable, but an application or staffing request needs sufficient information to be assessed.
Privacy complaints
Contact us using the details above and describe your concern. We will acknowledge it, review the relevant information and explain our response and next steps. If your concern remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the relevant privacy regulator.
We will update this notice when our information-handling arrangements change.
